Big boy's birthday@El Faro

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

we had a simple birthday celebration at El Faro! wanted to visit for quite a while already hehehe. Spanish restaurants are quite rare in Penang, i cant say it is 100% authentic but at least this was something different from what we have everyday, right? you cant just expect it was the exactly Spanish food which you had in Spain before cause its in Penang now so dont expect so much la. but for a dinner like that, i would said we're all satisfied for what we paid and what we got! at least, we enjoyed the nice wine, awesome ambience, friendly services and great accompanies!

booked the private room earlier! they have two private function rooms available, so remember to make your reservation!

and thanks to the helpful staff to pick 3 bottles of wine for us! we had a Spanish wine - Marques de Caceres Crianza (RM139/bottle), which highly recommended by the staff, nice, smooth and easy to drink, and a Spanish rose wine Marques de Caceres Rosado (RM119/bottle) with a depth of fragrant rose, delicious and charming. worth to try out some Spanish wine here!

and a sweet wine to end the dinner, we had Deakin Estate Moscato (RM106/bottle). another favourite of mine, lightly spritzy and fresh grape aroma, love it!
