Gateway Ekamai is a Japanese themed shopping mall in Bangkok, can be easily reach by bts. picture above was snapped once i stepped out from bts, a large maneki-neko (招财猫) welcoming us at the entrance of Gateway Ekamai!

had our lunch in Hakone, one of the Japanese restaurant in Ekamai, i was craving for sashimi after a few days having thai food!






we had dessert in Kyo Roll En(京)
it was one of the best dessert i had in Bangkok, definitely will pay another visit here on my next visit to bangkok!


Strawberry Cheesecake Kakigori // 135baht
probably the best thing to have after a long day of shopping under the hot sun! shaved ice with a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream with strawberry sauce, it was cold, tasty and super refreshing!

Gion Roll Set // 159baht

matcha + bamboo soft ice cream! smooth and soft, SUPER YUMMY! 

matcha and strawberry roll which was yummy too, fragrant of matcha and the strawberry fillings was too good together!

  2. Went to this mall too ! Love their japanese style decoration and ambiance ~ We also had a japanese dinner in this mall after overload of thai food in the past few days.. Hehe..
