Mama's day noms@Nona Bali

mother monster suggested to go for Balinese food on Mother's Day! called to book but it was fully booked, but she insisted to go so we went to try our luck. we're lucky enough to have an empty table (yeahhh). the reason why she loves this place, not only the good food they serve, but also the relaxing ambience and the greens around the shop (my mom ♥ places with alot of plants)

tucked in Promenade 28, Nona Bali has been operating since april 2013, and it's my first time here, like finally hahaha, thanks to mama! i think its not easy to find authentic Balinese food in penang, Nona Bali is surely a nice place for Balinese food cravings.

lunch menu

dim lights and dark coloured walls, white wooden tables and chairs, the place is beautifully decorated with balinese tapestries and paintings. most of the decorative items are for sale, imported all the way from Bali.

Nasi campur be siap // RM22.90
Balinese mixed chicken rice comes with a chicken satay and chicken soup.

Nasi campur be pasih // RM24.90

Balinese mixed fish rice with a satay lilit and fish with sambal paste. the sides were quite similar to the chicken, both served with soup, veggie, pickles and crackers.

Bebek Crispy //RM32.90

crispy duck serves with a different kind of crackers as you can see. really love the crispy duck it was crispy, tender with a strong scent of aromatic spices, YUMMY!!!!!

iced lemon tea and lime juice served with the lunch set

Lemongrass mojito // RM12.90
one of the best mojito i had so far!!!! the strong aroma of the lemongrass and the blended mint leaves, lime juice and soda, simply refreshing and thirst-quenching!

our hearty lunch ended with the dessert of the day
