Bibis Fashion and Bakery Cafe

located along Kelawai Road right opposite of Gurney Paragon Mall, Bibis cafe is just 2minutes walking from my work place. i can smell the aroma of the bread baking whenever i walk-by, all of the tasty bread are made from scratch by using all the fresh ingredients daily!

and the place, a little cafe consists not more than 10 small tables, beautifully decorated as a little cottage with all the white wooden furnitures, pretty little potted plants and some vintage posters on the wall. love the place very much but it is a little crowded in the morning and lunch hour, the tables are quite close to each other so i think the best is to reserve a place if you are going in a larger group.

the biggest table in the cafe in a cozy corner

was there on a saturday afternoon for brunch, ordered tea instead of coffee hehe

Wild berries // RM7.90

Tomato soup // RM8
velvety, hearty and appetizing...... so good!

Mushroom soup // RM9.90
served warm, thick and comforting, but personally i prefer the tomato soup.

Spring roll // RM8

spring rolls without deep fried are fantastic healthy snacks!

French cafe baguette // RM15.90
simple and tasty baguette with smoked salmon, hard-boiled egg, lettuce and tomatoes. i like the baguette it was still warm when i have it, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Panini with bolognese // RM17.90
the panini was a little dry but the fillings was ok, with melted cheese inside. still prefer panini comes with some fresh veggies......

Pesto spaghetti with chicken // RM24.90
my all-time-favourite pesto! it was delicious but it was quite pricey with that portion, and the cheese powder.............. i really dont like it that much :(

Egg benedict // RM12.90

how come their egg benny can be so beautiful? the English muffin was super soft and fluffy, and the egg, so nicely-poached! everything went so well with the Hollandaise sauce, a must-try!!!!

Fruit flan // RM10.90
very beautiful but the bottom part was a little soggy... not sure was it because of the jelly was too watery?

and now im thinking of going back for the noodle soup and herbal rice which only available during wednesday and weekends! heard alot of good comments, cant wait to try!

  6. You are right that the pesto was a bit at the premium side unless it was homemade with fresh basil and pine nuts. The Egg Benedict "burger" reminded of McEgg which obsolete long time ago. Thanks for sharing.
